Tip # 4 burned tobacco

The most annoying thing that could happen when you smoke hookah is over burned tobacco, some can not smoke it at all, it can be for many reasons, wind, too much tobacco, strong coals, too many coals, less tobacco and many more reasons..
first look on how to make a proper head (bowl)
here are some more tips to avoid over burned tobacco:
+ make some more holes
+ make smaller holes
+ check if by any chance you put more or less tobacco
+ don't force and push the tobacco at once, spread it gently
+ smoke often, sometimes people smoke a lot and a lot on one hookah, it's recommended to take a break for a minute or so, once the tobacco is over burned.
+ use a toothpick from the bottom of the bowls, each bowl has several holes at the bottom of it, use a toothpick to make holes on the foil from the bottom of the bowl, as i demonstrate in the picture added (not a painter)

Tip # 2 Double layer of foil

I've been asked a lot about using double layer of foil. It has it's advantages and disadvantages.
When you use two layers of foil it actually increase the gap between the tobacco and the coal, that way the tobacco won't burn quickly as usual, and you'll enjoy more.
It's second advantage it's for outdoor smokers, since the wind burn the coal and the tobacco faster, double layer will prevent it a bit.
the disadvantage are the health risk and the heat. once you put two layers of foil you inhale more risky gas (since the foil heat up) and the bowl itself heat up faster and you feel it while smoking.
two all you HL (hookah lovers) out there, if you use nly one coal per hookah, then one layer is always the most recommended, unless you smoke outside and then you should get a windshield or double layer of foil.

The Culture Behind the Hookah

The actual origin of the hookah pipe is controversial as many countries, including Egypt, India, Iran, Syria, and Turkey all claim to be the originating country of the hookah. In many places, the hookah is called nargile and is a Persian word for coconut. This is due to the hookah being made from coconut shells during its primitive years. Regardless, however, of where the hookah originated from, the fact is the hookah became popular and part of the culture of many countries.

In many Middle Eastern and South Asian cultures, especially Turkey, the hookah pipe became an important ritual, of sorts. It was generally for enjoyment and there soon became a certain way to smoke from the hookah pipe, such as a particular way to pass the hose. In many countries, it became the norm for families to smoke the hookah pipe after a large meal and in the Arab society, it was common to smoke from a single hose. However, in many lounges, it is more common for a smoker to have their own individual hookah pipe.

The hookah also became a popular method in which an artist could display their skills of engraving beautiful designs. Many women of the 19th and 20th centuries enjoyed showing off their hookahs during their afternoon teas. However, with the availability of cigarettes, the popularity of the hookah declined.

How Hookah Tobacco is Manufactured

Apart from the quality and design of the pipe itself, one of the keys to a satisfying hookah experience is the quality and flavor of the tobacco. Contrary to popular belief, most hookah smokers are merely smoking tobacco, although at one time opium and hashish were commonly smoked. Hookah tobacco is smoked for flavor rather than effect and most smokers find it relaxing and satisfying.

Hookah tobacco is different from the tobacco used in cigarettes or cigars, most hookah tobacco is traditionally blended from fresh tobacco leaves along with various additives such as honey, molasses or fruit pulp. This mixture is known as maassel or tobamel.

Rose oil or the juice from pomegranates has also occasionally been added to the mixture, which added more flavor to the smoke. During the 1980s, Egyptian hookah tobacconists started adding all sorts of flavors to their tobacco, fruits and spices in particular. The result is a strongly flavored tobacco sometimes called shisha.

More recently, many hookah tobacco manufacturers have also started adding glycerin because of its sweetening ability and ability to keep the tobacco moist. Because it is so wet, shisha tobacco must be smoked using hookah charcoal.

what type of a smoker are you?

Be well acquainted the following hookah smokers types of people and reply which one is you/ or offer ideas.
1. The Whales - some people with pneumonia they enjoy but who smokes after them enjoy less, because they destroy the whole point, as they smoke "harder" the tobacco will burn faster.
2.
The Cowardly - people who are afraid to take a smoke, that's fine but are you 'pretend'?
3.
The destroyers - the tube connected to a water pipe, hookah connected urn head and body, the pipe has a certain length, got my point?
4.
The fixers - those that always improvise and play with the coal, always with their hand tongs, stop! Enjoy your head and you do not have to move the coal talk about that later.
5.
The strangers - those who come to you without even knowing you want a smoke, do share but with mouth fairies and make sure they did not stay long (unless you have no friends).
6.
The Observers - those who know exactly how long and how many smoke everyone smoked, they look at you all the time when it's your turn to smoke, Tip: Don't have eye contact!
7.
The filthy - they leave your house with used foil, the ones that put everything on the table (not the expression).
8.
The wet ones - those most irritating, most do not have a gf so they kiss with the nozzle (French) those who leave all their spit on the tube and mouthpiece, there may be side effects of purring, spitting and coughing.
9.
The chokers - those that no matter what, even with a new head and a new hookah, they always choke, for those of you with glasses it's good to protect the cough spit on you.
10.
The Settlers -
those that no matter what they do not leave the hookah, they would talk on the phone prepare an omelet; go to the bathroom with a hookah.

step # 8 prepare a proper head

We got to the most important part, making the head, below the usual way, making the head has  few steps:

1. Cleaning the head - before preparation is important to clean the head of the remains of previous tobacco, not to be aftertaste and the holes are not clogged.

2. Preparation of tobacco - for those of you who chose to use fresh tobacco, it is important to check whether the tobacco is soaked or not, therefore, desirable to filter out the tobacco before use. Too wet tobacco will make the aspirations, and feel like the hookah obscure.

3. Fill your head - when preparing the head you should disperse the tobacco evenly over the entire head, separating the leaves. If we we put the tobacco mass, smoking will be less enjoyable, the tobacco will burn faster.

Do Not compress the tobacco and fill too little or too much, I've included a picture to illustrate the desired amount.

4. foil- if you smoke in an enclosed space, so suffice to use one layer of thick foil. For those of you smokers out there (or somewhere windy) use a double layer of foil and/ or buy a windshield.

5. Hole-punching  - has to do medium holes, small and not large, all over the head. Photo illustration later.

6. Light the coal, smoke and pass it forward.

Later I'll bring you an article of little tips that make the difference
